Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required Experience: Will train Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English Work Setting: Kennel Animal Care Experience: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.) Specific Animal Care Skills: Prepare food and feed animals, Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures, Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals, Monitor and document animal behaviour Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Additional Skills: Keep records of animals treated Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads Essential Skills: Writing, Working with others, Decision making Employer: Harbour Cities Vet Hospital/ Petsmart Boarding |
